What if I don't have an employee's NI Number?

If you do not know an employee’s NINO (National Insurance Number) when you want to submit your return, you should leave the NINO (NI Number) box blank, then enter the employee’s date of birth and gender in the appropriate boxes - these are mandatory when there is no NI Number.
