The P11D Organiser provides functionality to test communication settings/access restrictions so that users can check that communication channels are correctly configured within their infrastructure


To access the test buttons, once logged into the software, from the Admin menu select 'System Configuration'




The Comms screen is displayed.



There are two button that test the communications to our update server (MyP11D) and to HMRC (for submissions).


The "Test Connection to MyP11d" button should display the following pop-up dialogue if the connection is successful  


The "Test Connection to HMRC" button should display the following pop-up dialogue if the connection is successful  



https://www.myp11d.com and https://transaction-engine.tax.service.gov.uk are the sites that need white-listing if there is any test failure.
